SONY Alpha SA will be joining us on our new adventure. Still to be decided exactly where. Awaiting permits etc. After receiving some gear I took it for a testdrive and was extremely happy with the results. Mirrorless. The way to go! This photo was taken into the sun, coming from the right, hence the red glow. @sonyalphasa @hannes_lochner @noakoefler
Sony a6400 is a minefield of settings. One really needs help in understanding all the aspects of the features. Procured through my son in working in China, the new DJI Ronin gimbal RSC2 for this camera, and that too is a bit too much for me . Perhaps a workshop can be set up in Johannesburg. or you may like to come to Wakkerstroom and stay at our self catering cottage, while we put together local fans ,who love to improve their skills in photography
HANNES, I HAVE OVER THE YEARS WATCHED YOUR FINE CRAFTMANSHIP WITH A CAMERA, AND LEARNT YOUR NEW ENDEVOUR WITH SONY ALPHA. BOUGHT THE MIRRORLESS CAMERA WITH A RHODE MIC, AND A DJI RONIN GIMBAL. WILL BE ENTERESTED IN MOBILITY AND LIGH WEIGHT OF THIS NEW DEVELOPMENT WITH YOU. FOR IMPROVED SOUND, HAVE YOU EVER USED A SOUND SCOOP BUILT BY NEVILLE SMITHERS?
Hey Keith, thanks for the message and kind words. I haven’t no, My wife Noa works with a lot of sound gear because she does filming. Sony is tops for now! Lets hope they continue to improve!
