Good morning everyone…its Black & White Friday again! Im back on the leopards and are loving it! When older cubs start to get more independant, its so much fun to follow them and see what they are up to. This cub was photographed close to Houmoed, rolling and sleeping in the long grass, playing with his tail the whole time. At one year of age (like this one here), leopard young can probably fend for themselves, but remain with the mother for 18–24 months, but in the kalahari it is known that the time period is slightly less, 16-20 months.
